Samsung still Patent for Tablet with flexible screen

Continue to emerge through patentbolt Samsung patents related to devices with a flexible screen. In this case we speak of a tablet(PIPO M8Pro) that allows you to bend one part of the body by adapting the interface to the crease and the portion of the available display. In practice in the classical position, the device uses the entire screen to manage the Ui and information, but once folded edge, the interface will adapt and in addition to showing the general information on the wide, the bent portion of the display will offer a mini interface with some commands, controls and info.
The principle is the same as seen with the first prototypes of smartphones Youm only that, in this case, instead of being fixed and not modifiable, the display can be folded by the user.

The drawing clearly shows the Android interface although designed and belonging to the old conception of the Android interface. Considering the difficulties in achieving this type of display, we will be amazed if this patent is not later than one year before being actually realized. Although by the end of the year you can move something on the front flexible displays, it is still too early to see products that can change, even slightly, their shape. We'll see if by the end of 2014, the technology will have costs of sustainable production.
