Acer presents the first 8.1-inch tablet with Windows 8

The company believes the device Iconia W3 "ideal for professionals, students and families"
 
EP / MADRID Acer Iconia tablet(PIPO Tablet PC) has introduced the W3, the first 8.1-inch market with Windows 8 operating system. This is a 'tablet' of 11.35 mm with Intel Atom Z2760 processor, 2GB of RAM and internal memory of 32 GB and 64 GB. The new device incorporates so free, preinstalled Microsoft Office Home & Student.

Connected Standby feature helps extend battery life by turning off the screen when the device is turned on to perform tasks in the background. Display 8.1-inch LED backlit displays 720p video with incredible detail and brightness. The 1280x800 resolution makes the media appear sharp and clear.
It has a micro-HDMI port, you can connect the tablet to a TV, and a port mircro-USB for connection to other devices.
Because the Acer Iconia W3 runs Windows 8 system, this tablet(Cube Tablet PC) can synchronize files, photos and contacts with other Windows 8 devices. According to Miguel Hernandez, "Windows 8 on this device is a great advantage because it allows multiscreen, a quality that sets it apart from any other device, and also allows synchronization of files and programs due to the cloud system." This release supports x86 architecture programs in Windows.
The new Acer Iconia W3 has been presented as a tablet ideal for professionals, students and families "because it includes programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote for work or school. Microsoft Office Home & Student comes pre-installed on new ' tablet ', so users can start using it immediately.

The Iconia W3, with capacities of 32 GB and 64 GB, has a bluetooth keyboard option available for 69 euros, with which the 'tablet' is held horizontally and vertically. The keyboard is the same size as that of the more portable 13.3-inch.
