7-inch tablet with phone function

Huawei has introduced the Mediapad 7 Vogue a new 7-inch tablet in aluminum housing, with which the user can make calls without a headset. It is relatively thin and has a quad-core processor.

The Mediapad 7 Vogue has a IPS touch screen with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels. The Huawei tablet(Onda V811) that has a lower resolution than Google's Nexus 7 and the Fonepad from Asus. While the tablet by Google and Asus have a pixel density of 216 ppi, which Mediapad 7 Vogue has comparatively low 170 ppi.

 

Huawei has just referred to some technical data on the tablet, many aspects of the device are not yet available. It is known that the device is running a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. In addition, a modem HSPA + support will be available, but Wi-Fi is supported by only single-band 802.11 b / g / n. Users are directly connected to the tablet, similar to the Fonepad can call without connecting a headset.

Huawei brings the Mediapad 7 Vogue still running Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean on the market. Whether there will be an update to Android 4.2 for it is not yet known. Through the operating system installed its own surface Huawei Emotion UI in version 1.5. With emotion UI user can select different designs and customize the smartphone extensive than other manufacturers surfaces. Also the user profiles can be configured far-reaching than other manufacturers.

In a case thickness of 9.5 mm and a weight of 335 grams, the tablet(HYUNDAI Tablet PC) in the unibody aluminum casing just under 1 mm thin and 5 grams lighter than the Fonepad from Asus. With a single charge, up to four HD movies to watch or let the user can call up to 20 hours with it. Uses a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 4,100 mAh.

Huawei wants to bring the Vogue Mediapad 7 later this month in China to market. In other countries, the device should appear later, details of all there is not. How much will it cost tablet is not yet known. The previously known features can but suspect that Huawei will bring the Mediapad 7 Vogue at a price to the level of Fonepad on the market.
