Steve Jobs maintained that small tablets would not be as successful as the great (and got the iPad mini to question that statement) Now Acer launches 8.1-inch tablets based on Windows 8 Pro with the long-rumored Acer Iconia W3.
Sure Tablet PC called the W3 may be something wrong because with a compatible operating system and desktop ordenandores a superb range of keyboards, cases and accessories dockings, it could be considered a mini convertible ultraportable.
Windows 8 Pro ultraportable version
The Acer Iconia W3 is the first Windows 8 tablet small size, making it more portable and handy in certain situations (plus cheaper). The W3 despite his size is not a basic orientation tablet(Ainol Novo 7) because it uses the most complete and powerful version of the Microsoft operating system, Windows 8 Pro, as opposed to models that opt for Windows RT.

In its 8.1-inch screen WXGA (1280 × 768 pixels) integrates an Intel Atom Z2760 processor with 2 GB of RAM, the Intel GMA 3650 graphics chip and a capacity of 32 or 64 GB SSD memory.
It features a 2 Megapixel front camera and a rear and connectivity available is WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 USB 2.0, microSD and micro HDMI(PIPO M8) output for connecting to external displays. The battery promises 8 hours of autonomy but in the case of Windows, wait for the evidence to say for sure.
