Compare Sony Xperia E3 vs Samsung Galaxy Ace 4

The high-end phones are often carried much prominence, but the figures show that the mid-range and entry is preferred by the Spanish segment. Smartphones that offer a balance between performance and price. Sony introduced a new model of low-medium range a few weeks ago at IFA. We talked about the Sony Xperia E3, the new little brother Xperia range. Samsung also has a smartphone with similar characteristics. This is the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 (SM-G375FZ), the fourth edition of their hit series Ace. The two have similar benefits and cost around 200 euros in free format. We see all the differences.

Display and Design
Both manufacturers are betting on panels rather discreet size. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 features a Super AMOLED 4.3 inch display, which develops a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and 217 dots per inch concentrated. Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia E3 mounts a 4.5-inch IPS panel with 854 x 480 pixel resolution and 217 points density.
Both models have bar design, although the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4(cheap cell phone cases) has much more rounded edges. It is also more compact and lightweight, although the Sony Xperia E3 has a more elongated shape and is also thinner. The terminal Sony has integrated touch buttons directly on the screen, while the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 features a physical button (home) and two touch on the sides (multitasking and backward).

Camera and Multimedia
The two terminals have a 5 megapixel camera on the back. They have LED flash, autofocus, face detection, geo-tagging and panoramic. The Sony Xperia E3 provides some extra features like image stabilizer, scene detector or Sweep Panorama mode. Also record video in full HD, while the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 does as HD720p. However, the Galaxy Ace 4 makes both the front camera, which has a 1.3 megapixel sensor versus 0.3 megapixel Sony Xperia E3.
The media profile is matched on basic points, such playback formats, Radio Tuner, dictation and voice recording, integrated media player. The Sony Xperia E3 comes forward with sound, to integrate several improvements xLOUD, which boosts low, or Clear + Audio for clearer sound.

Power, memory and operating system
The power is also virtually matched, with the exception that the processor model is not exactly the same. The Sony Xperia E3 has a Snapdragon 400, a quad core 1.2 Ghz works and has architecture Cortex A7. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 features a Snapdragon 401, also 1.2 Ghz Cortex A53 but with architecture and a slightly more powerful graphics processor. The two lead 1Gb of RAM.
Although sympathetic to the RAM, the ROM is not equal. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 makes both very important to have a 8 Gb to store data, which can also be expanded to 64 GB with additional MicroSD cards. The Sony Xperia E3, however, comply with 4Gb of which have available roughly half (if we subtract what concerns the system and applications). Also accepts MicroSD cards, but 32 GB maximum.
Where I do is tied into the operating system. Both are updated to Android 4.4 KitKat, which is the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. The difference comes with the interface provided by each manufacturer. Both have the Google apps package, which includes services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, YouTube, Google Maps or Google Drive among others.

Connectivity and autonomy
Connections are more equal, with small details in favor of either. The Sony Xperia E3 has ANT + connection for sports accessories, while the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 carries an NFC chip to make payments. Moreover, both have 3G or 4G connectivity, WiFi 2.4GHz, GPS-Glonass antenna, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi Direct, microUSB and headphone connection.
The battery of the Sony Xperia E3 is one of its highlights. With a capacity of 2,330 milliamps, Sony claims that this smartphone may be more than 706 hours on when you are at rest. Talk time is around 12 hours and lets you listen to 49 hours of music. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4(Best iPhone 6 Cases) is not far behind. Your battery has less capacity (1,900 milliamp), but its screen is also smaller, so we get a more than acceptable autonomy. To compare with the Xperia E3, music playback can reach 53 hours without interruption while navigating between 9 and 12 hours depending on the connection you are using.

Conclusions
As we have already mentioned, there are two proposals that are at the same level in both performance and price. The Sony Xperia E3 has the advantage that the screen is slightly larger and sgraba FullHD videos. It also has several sound enhancements and camera comes with more features. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 has more internal memory, a key point in its favor, and your processor is a bit more powerful. It also has NFC.
